Commenting on the rejection of the BID proposals, Cllr Matthew Dorrance said:
“The BID proposal gave Brecon a real opportunity but the decision was always for the business community to make.
“The rejection of the BID needs analysis to understand what went wrong, why businesses didn’t have confidence in the plans and what additional support the business community really needs.
“I hope the County Council, working with partners like the business community and the Town Council, will reflect on this and bring forward an action plan to help regenerate Brecon.”
