Residents in Brecon West Ward are warmly invited to attend a “Cuppa with Your Councillor” drop-in session hosted by Councillor Matthew Dorrance and Councillor David Meredith.
The event will take place on Monday 29th June, at Llanfaes Church Hall, from 10:00am to 12:00 midday.
This informal session provides an opportunity for residents to raise issues, ask questions, and discuss local matters directly with their councillors. All residents are welcome to attend—whether they have a specific concern or simply want to find out more about local services and support available in the community.
Representatives from Powys County Council, Dyfed-Powys Police, and Wales & West Housing have also been invited to attend, giving residents the chance to speak directly with key local organisations in one place.
Councillor Matthew Dorrance said:
“We know how important it is for people to be able to speak councillors and organisations delivering local services. These sessions are a great opportunity to listen to residents and help address the issues that matter most to them.”
Councillor David Meredith added:
“We want to make ourselves as accessible as possible. Please do come along for a chat over a cuppa—everyone is very welcome.”
No appointment is needed—residents can drop in at any time during the session.
